As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am devoted to the treatment of children, adolescents and families. I am a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider in the state of Virginia and concentrate this area of work with juvenile sex offenders and children who have acted out sexually against other children. I have worked with families and children in the home for over 12 years and was clinical director at a children’s residential treatment facility for 3 years. I have worked extensively with children with severe behavior problems and with their families in the home and in out-of-home placements.

Specifically, I treat children and adolescents with a broad range of psychological and behavioral issues including: bipolar disorder, adolescent issues, ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, sex offenses. Services include the development of treatment goals and strategies to meet identified needs. The individual therapy will have the capability to address a variety of problems and issues that are specific for that individual child. All TIME therapies are strength based and solution focused. The focus of treatment is to empower the family and to assist the child to address his or her functioning and to assist the child and family to move toward appropriate conflict resolution and improved emotional growth.
